Basketball Teams
Team Fierce fields competitive women’s basketball teams for athletes ages 10U through 16U. Teams are organized by age group, with development priorities that evolve as athletes grow, while expectations around preparation, effort, and coachability remain consistent.
How Our Teams Are Structured
Each Team Fierce team is coached with age-appropriate goals and a clear developmental focus. Younger teams emphasize fundamentals and learning how to train, while older teams place greater demands on decision-making, composure, and responsibility.
As athletes progress through the program, the game gets faster, expectations increase, and accountability deepens. Development is intentional at every level.
Fierce Academy

Start at Fierce Academy.
Fierce Academy is a fun, structured basketball workout for hoopers ages 5 to 10, preparing for the next level of play. We focus on teaching the fundamentals the right way from the very beginning, building confidence and comfort with the ball in an age-appropriate environment.
Players work on:
• Dribbling with control
• Proper shooting form
• Passing and catching
• Basic defensive movement
• Listening, competing, and being great teammates
Each session is high energy, positive, and built around repetition and simple progressions. We are not rushing the game; we are building it the right way.
At Fierce Academy, we lay the foundation now so young hoopers are confident, prepared, and ready as the game gets faster and more competitive.

Consistency Across Every Team
While developmental priorities change by age, the core of the program remains the same. Athletes across all teams are held to clear expectations around effort, preparation, and coachability.
Standards do not disappear as athletes move up, they become more demanding.
Team Placement & Evaluations
Team placement is based on readiness, development, and overall fit within the program. Evaluations are used to ensure athletes are placed in environments that support their growth while maintaining the integrity of each team.
